Looking healthy
and actually feeling
healthy are two
different things.
From a very young age, I worked alongside my grandad — gardening, tree cutting, real physical work. Those early days taught me discipline, resilience, and gave me my first taste of what it meant to be strong.
Growing up, I loved sport. Football, boxing, rugby — if it involved movement, competition, or pushing myself, I was all in. At 16, that passion took me into the gym for the first time.
Like a lot of young lads, I was inspired by Arnold, Cena, The Rock. I became obsessed with bodybuilding and the idea of building the biggest physique possible.
For years I trained and ate like a bodybuilder. Massive meals. Protein shakes constantly. Late-night eating because I thought I'd "lose size" otherwise. On the outside, I looked fit. On the inside, things started going wrong. Gut issues. Mood swings. Anxiety out of nowhere. Low energy mentally despite looking good physically.
That was my wake-up call. I realised the lifestyle wasn't going to serve me long-term — especially as life gets busier.
I moved away from chasing size and started training like an all-round athlete. Calisthenics. Boxing. MMA. Functional training. A body that could last for life, not just look good for a short period.
That journey opened my eyes to nutrition. I started seeing how much unnecessary rubbish is hidden inside modern foods. Sugar added to almost everything because of how addictive it is — even foods marketed as "healthy."
Like most people, I'd been blinded by clever marketing and convenience. The more I learned, the more my life changed.
Eat clean, natural, simple foods — and still enjoy life. It's not about being perfect. It's about making better choices consistently, understanding what you're putting into your body, and focusing on prevention rather than waiting for the need of a cure.
Now I want to help others experience that same transformation, in a realistic, sustainable way that lasts.
